Out of Jurisdiction – Worksafe BC

The Workplace Emergency First Aid (WEFA) course is approved by WorkSafe BC. This self-study course is completed after taking the pre-requisite course: Intermediate (Standard) First Aid/CPR or Basic (Emergency) First Aid. The WEFA certificate is equivalent to the BC Occupational First Aid (OFA) Level 1 certificate. The Canadian Red Cross issues your certificate which is valid for up to 3 years.

Please note that the date of issuance and expiry date illustrated on your WEFA certificate will correspond to the dates entered on  your Intermediate (Standard) or Basic (Emergency) First Aid certificate.
