Creating a Red Cross Account
Instructions to set up a Red Cross Account on Your Cell Phone:
- Account set-up is important as the Red Cross populates your certificate into your account: My Profile – My Certifications
- Enter the following url using your browser (Safari, Chrome etc): myrc.redcross.ca
- Click the menu bars (3 stacked lines) found on the right top corner of the page: this is specific to cell phone users
- Click Sign In
- If you don’t have an account press ‘forgot password’ highlighted in red
- This takes you to the next page: press ‘Cancel’
- This is cumbersome but this is how the Red Cross IT team has set this system up
- You are now on the page where you will Enter your email and then press ‘verify’
- This takes you to the next page where you are prompted to create a password. To meet the password requirements you need one capital letter, several small letters, a few numbers and a special character such as the ‘*’ character. Enter this twice and then enter your first and last name as you want it to appear on your certificate. Press ‘Create’ and your account is created.
- If this does not work for you, don’t sweat the small stuff, we will help you through the process at the course. Please arrive a little earlier if you need support.
- You will need to provide us with the email that you used when you set up your account, or if you cannot set it up, the email you provided to us will be used to create the account when you arrive at Breath for Life.
- Note: you must not change your email in your account. This will prevent you from gaining access to your certificate.
